Hi Davide Rossi. Thanks for posting. Please do not consider my "critical input" as an attempt to diminish the quality of your work. Being not professional I cannot offer to others anything but my personal thoughts, spelled out, although, please, be aware that posting in the "Scaffold" category usually usually invites the constructive criticism. it is difficult to judge about quality of the work looking at a such a small size image. I admit that a line of highlights on the water looks impressive and b/w of the picture creates a strong impression, although I suspect that the actual colors might have been even more impressive. If the idea of the shot was to emphasize the "road of light" on the water, the image could have been composed a little differently. For example, an angle of the camera could have been changed so the water portion on the image is bigger than the sky one, so this "street" could have been longer and more visible. IMHO
Hi Michael Mossiagin , I have posted here to have critics! :) But now I saw that my pict is too small.... I'll try to resend in big format. I don't understand why google plus have reduced my pict. Thanks a lot for your comment.
Davide Rossi, Google has a preference setting for the size of your images, that you post. You might check that to see if it got set to smaller the submitted size. If that is not the case, than it is just google being google. I have seen small ones of mine with not explanation either.
As for critique, I am in general agreement with Michael Mossiagin. I would also say that the sun is almost centered in the picture. It might be more dramatic if it were offset some. Consider the "rule of thirds", for instance. But please don't think of it as a requirement. There have been countless example of fantastic shots that ignore that "rule", too. :-)
np. You have got some great pictures.
