I lucked out in Utah a couple of weeks ago. Visited Canyonlands and Arches and practically had the place to ourselves. I decided I would try to get a sunrise shot at the Mesa Arch though it's one of the busiest sunrise shots in the US. I was of only 5 people there and got all of the shots I wanted. I know it's been done 92938409 times but here is my version of Sunrise at the Mesa Arch.

Stepping out of my comfort zone.

Got out in the kayak this weekend.

Single shot version, minus sunburst, plus geese.

3-shot HDR (-1,0,+1) of a spot near my house yesterday morning.

I got into photography because I got into taking photos of waterfalls. I think I have visited around 100 or the 275 or so documented falls in Arkansas. This is one of my favorites, Curve Ball Falls.

I camped out for 4 nights last week. Did lots of night sky shots! This was the first stop Friday night. Sorry about the lack of EXIF data. I snagged this copy from another post. This was a 25s exposure at ISO 3200, f/4 on a Sony A7r with the Zeiss 16-35mm lens @ 16mm.
