Dilettante Photography: Retrospective

We are under attack. Today I have rejected roughly 20 applications to join the community, nearly all from people with no photos on their profile (& one soft porn person). Just to let you know

We suddenly seem to be getting a lot of spam, please take care before admitting new members & look at their profile. No pics, no admittance

My picture appears to be that of the community photo? If I did this, it was inadvertently!! If someone else did this, thank you and I am honored!!

My pick for #February ...  There were so many great shots to pick from. It was a very very hard choice.

Thank you for all the moderators, voted to choose the best community's picture of January. Several excellent works were voted for and I had to give my vote to one of them to pick the winner. Doing this I paid attention to very little details and technical issues - normally easily overlooked. After long debating with myself, I gave my vote to the composition by Андрей Шениязов .  Andrei would you agree to placing your work on the community board? It goes to XO category.  Congratulations!

Thanks to everybody, who has voted. Let us close the voting next Tuesday. So far 4 different pictures have been voted for. It makes choosing a winner a bit tricky. I keep my own vote to the end but I'd rather not use it at all. Cheers everybody!
