http://oregon-photography.blogspot.com/ There are some fifty historic covered bridges in Oregon. Many were built between 1905 and 1925. At one time there were almost 450 in the State. The Chitwood is in Lincoln County close to Eddyville and crosses the Yaquina River. It has been rebuilt a few time since 1893 and you are seeing the 1926 version.
