All right, here's the same house.

All right, here's the same house.  As per Oshi Shikigami's suggestion, I took the shot from a couple of inches from the ground and got rid of the pesky house to the left.  Here's two shots, one in color and one in black and white.

The truth is that I really hate critique, and to look at other people's work.  But that's why I need this community.  Both are necessary for growth.  I appreciate everyone's participation and look forward to both.  You are a bunch of great people.

  1. Very nice! The diagonals builds drama and the contrast, mystery. And as a super bonus, you got the flag reflection perfect in the window! Great job. You continue on the journey we are all taking to ever improve our craft.  :-)

  3. It's a pleasure and an honor to have the opportunity to relate here with so many talented and genuinely kind people on the list. It's a joy to have us all grow, together.  :-)

  4. I like both of these.  The color version I especially like the choice in tones.  Not the common colors you find in our area; yet, you did it so well.

I haven't seen all of your work; however, the black and white version should be in your top 20 list.  It is one of the best photographs I have seen of yours, and I like a lot of your stuff.   Beautiful subject, beautiful work.

  5. Fred Scott Jr. Thank you so much.  I had fun editing the color version, the cold tones brought out a certain creepy factor.  My favorite is the black and white though.
