Okay, here are three photos I took of an interesting piece of plastic that I saw near my car yesterday. I thought the reflections were interesting. Two pictures are reflections, the other is through. What works for these photos, what doesn't. I took these photos just for fun, feel free to tear them up.
Teresa Prater, right. It is cloudy in the plastic. It may not be for everyone's tastes. They aren't favorites of mine. But, art is about exploration and asking what if? The thought in my head was, what if I took photos of this?
ReplyDeleteI think I "get" the art thing. If I accept them as 'abstract', they are a joy to look at. If it were for any for of realism though, that I would not "get". LOL
ReplyDeleteOshi Shikigami, yup, this was dabbling in the abstract and unrealism.
ReplyDeleteCoolness, then. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks thijs gerhardus. It was fun to do. Playing around with that plastic could yield interesting results.
ReplyDeletethe reflections are visually interesting.. or could be used to make random visually interesting abstractions.. made more so by correcting some of the contrast loss.. that could be more of a question of subject contrast.. but the end is pretty flat and desaturated.. but it could be a VERY Interesting series of 'art' shots..
ReplyDeleteThank you Kevin Vincent, I'll have to play around with Lightroom a bit.
ReplyDeleteYMMV ;-)
