Day 4 of my #splittonefivedaychallenge   , to which I was kindly invited by Michael Mossiagin. Today I would like to invite Bart Kpx, (If he likes) to participate in the challenge, one Split Tone Photo per day for five days, photos can be new or from your archives. This image was split-toned in Lightroom 5.7, settings: Highlight hue of 156/Saturation 100 Shadow hue of 249/Saturation 100 Balance highlights/shadows at 0 This is my pen and ink original. I made a "Line" photo of it (Just black, and white. No tones). I then played around in Lightroom to achieve the "watercolor" or "brush flow" look to it, by severely DECREASING the settings for 'clarity' and 'contrast', 'sharpening' and 'noise reduction'. For this photo, I wanted to duplicate the silver print look of Kodak Portra Paper toned in Kodak Brown Toner. Original shot in color converted to B&W in Lightroom. This image was split-toned in Lightroom 5.7, settings: Highlight hue of 40/Saturation 25 Shadow hue of 213/Saturation 12 Balance highlights/shadows at -9

This image was split-toned in Lightroom 5.7, settings: Highlight hue of 120/Saturation 88 Shadow hue of 30/Saturation 68 Balance highlights/shadows at 0 Green Water Dragon I took a line image, of a pen and ink drawing, of Braxxis, my Green Water Dragon, and spit-toned to to "re-color" the image. I also included a photograph to compare what they look like in color. Green and brown to tone the photo.

This image was split-toned in Lightroom 5.6, settings: Highlight hue of 50/Saturation 85 Shadow hue of 300/Saturation 40 Balance highlights/shadows at +4 Chocolate Chip Cookie I used a yellowish color for highlights and a purplish color for shadows to make this B&W rendering look as "realistic" as possible.
