Unique Personality

Unique Personality Let your uniqueness shine! When I saw this unusual tree I was mesmerized by its unique personality. So I wanted to dedicate this image to everyone who don’t feel good enough in any way and to remind them that they are unique and beautiful creations of the Universe. So be proud of who you are and let others see your true beauty! Bryce Canyon - The Observer (best viewed large)

Bryce Canyon  - The Observer (best viewed large) Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah Reach new horizons! Bryce Canyon  is one of the most mysterious and hauntingly beautiful places I have ever visited! I had a feeling of intelligence and order in many of its rock formations, which often looked like sculptures. Many of the "sculptures" resembled me the drip sand castles which I had so much fun making when I was a kid. The ancient Paiutes believed the trickster Coyote turned humans to stone. But the questions about the origin of its rock formations shouldn’t stand in a way of enjoying the magnificent views, shapes and colors of Bryce. #inspirational

Count Your Blessings

Count Your Blessings Count your blessings instead of your crosses; Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth; Count on ONE instead of yourself.  ~Author Unknown #inspirational   #spiritual

#inspirational   #spiritual   I worked this picture out in a monochrome version for this contest as i felt it would express stronger the whole  context of the message. More information inside the picture. The reverence for the deeds of our ancestors is a treacherous sentiment. Their merit was not to reverence the old, but to honor the present moment; and we falsely make them excuses of the very habit which they hated and defied. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Contemplation (best viewed large) “Do you know what you are? You are a manuscript of a divine letter. You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.  This universe is not outside of you.  Look inside yourself; everything that you want,  you are already that.” ~ Rumi #inspirational #spiritual

Tree of Life

The Cross #inspirational   #spiritual    (Picture2) Passed by this cross yesterday and sometimes i wonder, if they really do remind us of our own crosses, which we carry anyway, trying to master our lives on this earth. Location: Old Rhine Area, Vorarlberg, Austria

Quite some time ago, i created this picture for a competition. I'ts a multi exposure of 2 pictures. If you have a closer look, you can see snowy mountains. In German i call this "Rückbesinnung" and i hope the English word "recollection" is an adequate translation for what i wanted to express. (Some thoughts to Buddhism below, for the ones who are interested) #inspirational   #spiritual    picture1) I was brought up with Catholic Religion (if one can call it that way..) I am free of any Religion since 30 years.  I can recognize sense in Buddhism, but i don't have to be a Buddhist or join, to find it a good way. What i personally am seeking for is for consciousness in own responsibility for more understanding, peace and mutual caring. Found some thoughts/meanings about Buddhism: "In the beginning what fascinated me about Buddhism is that it acknowledges and gave me the understanding of the supernatural existence of the inanimate.. Then I discovered tha...
