I agree completely with this sentiment. Sometimes we get so psyched to shoot something, that we forget to just take it all in. And if things aren't perfect, there are still a lot of pleasures we can derive from just observing. Take a breath, sit quietly, and let the entire total experience of it, soak in. Originally shared by Elia Locardi As a photographer, I always try to remind myself to simply enjoy the moment even when the conditions aren't perfect for the frame. It's at those times when I love to just take a step back and surrender a few moments to fully appreciate where I am and what's in front of me.   Over the years, this simple practice has helped me learn to place more value in the experience of a place rather than the act of capturing it.
