Woodall For the contest "All things Water" ,.. #allthingswater   I had to go looking from when I posted this photo a couple of months ago, so that I could have it on my computer instead of my mother's, which is where a lot of my photos were uploaded to, and so was barely able to get one in before the contest ends on the 31st. :-) There was another foggy day here, just a few days ago, but I was unable to get out that day. But, I hope to again when I'm able to.

Between the Tides (Hamburg, May 2015) Sony SLT-A58, ISO 400, 300mm, f/6.3, 1/640 I took this photo at the Heuckenlok Nature Reserve Area (which is inside Hamburg's city limits). This Area is at the Elbe River Bank, thereby strongly influenced by the Noth Sea tides. It falls more or less dry at low tide. However, around 100 times per year the whole area is completely covered by water when the high tide is stronger than average. #allthingswater

Good morning to all! have a splendid Sunday  #allthingswater   picture taken in Austria, i found it interesting to see how it turned out with the Green and Blue contrast. Honestly, the biggest "problem" with themes like this for me personally is, WHICH of the many pictures i should take and show.

Lakes / #allthingswater   Beautiful places: Viewing tower on the pier, Friedrichshafen, Lake Constanze / Germany / Mole-Turm Friedrichshafen, Bodensee "Well, it is what it is and it's pretty awesome. The view is rather nice in Friedrichshafen even from ground level, and up the tower it's really awesome. It takes a little while to get up there, and it's not for the completely unfit! One may be panting heavily when reaching the top. But yeah, the view is indeed amazing. And it's free!" (read this description somewhere and like it :) ) The 22 m high observation tower on the pier, which was built in 2000, offers a beautiful view over the city and castle church, the orchards in the outback as well as panoramic views of Lake Constance and the Alps.   The observation tower as urban vertical element presents - with its horizontal Opposite -one of the most important gateways to the city.
