The Yaquina Head Lighthouse is one of the most popular lighthouses on the Oregon Coast. It is located at the north end of Newport and jets out about a mile from the main shoreline. It can easily be seen from out at sea. It actually replaced a lighthouse that is only three miles away. Recently, it received a well deserved paint job.
