Thanks for posting Natasha Penso ! You have chosen a good composition. I am sure the original colors had been beautiful but photographing with a phone camera is tricky because we have to take into account the limitation of a small matrix size, a very wide angle of the lens and other "features" of each particular camera. Besides it is not always easy to level a light and not really designed for photography phone camera. Most of these issues - luckily - can be improved by post processing. Even if you do not have any editing program, a quick edit in Google+ can sometimes do wonders to your picture. The purpose is not to paint over your original photo but to enhance something you might have wanted to share with your audience and to restore these original, natural colors. I'd start with leveling the horizon :)
I appreciate the feedback Michael Mossiagin I will perhaps attempt to do what you note as post processing, these I have simply pulled from my private photos and posted. Perhaps I'll take more time to look and see what I may do to improve upon the poor quality and limitations of the camera phone. Unfortunately, I left my tiny point and shoot at home conveniently waiting for me on the dresser.
That's an awesome view!! Thanks for posting. The iphone 3gs might not have the ideal camera, but you have it always with you so you can capture the beautiful places and lovely moments you otherwise missed ;-) Have a great weekend!!
Dear Anne Elling Thank you for your thoughtful comment. You are exactly correct. If my mind could easily recall those moments so that I could replay them in my memory... then it would not be needed. But this brings up the time there perfectly and one spectacular hike that I allowed me to open up this view onto the main town below. I hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. :-)
