Nice and colorful image, clear enough despite the high iso value. It is not a rule but I try to not place moving objects right in the middle of the frame because it makes them "frozen" rather than moving. Leaving space before or after the moving object creates an impression of mobility. Just my usual two cents, no offence was meant: I really like your image as it is.
Michael Mossiagin Sorry for replying late: had two busy days. I completely agree with you, I know the 1/3 rule, but not always one can follow it, especially in the darkness. :) Many thanks for your comment, Michael!
Hi Igor Rybnikov ! The 1/3 rule is actually not a rule for me, rather than a suggestion. I usually use my senses to guide me, even though I have golden section lines (rather than 1/3 I use these guides) appearing on my editing LR screen to give me some prospective. Regardless of the rules, I think 1/3 rule is not really applicable when we are talking about moving subject, at least not the vertical guide lines. Depending on the speed of the object, we may leave before or after it more or less empty space to emphasize the movement. I totally agree that all these "rules" are not always working for every composition and we definitely use whatever we can at a particular moment.
