Nobody starts, so I will. If I was to re-take this image, I'd re-arrange the racquets, so handle of one of the was lifted above the ground and change my point of view, going much lower, so my lens is in front of the lifted handle of the racquete, then I'd open an aperture to blur everything that is not in the focus... I really dislike the shadow in the lower left corner... During post processing I'd try to emphasize the rackuets's red color rather than the green of the grass... Anything else?
Agree with MUCH lower even to where a blade of grass or two, or that denadelion, may accent your shot..i'd be curious to see a shot way low but from the top of the racquet pointed down to the end of the racquet (slightly lifted maybe to capture strings best) too. And the interesting pattern on that grip tape has me looking at it wondering, "hmmm" about a close-up..
I'm not the Artist you are with a lense, brotha. But those are my thoughts (:
Thanks Kene Ovenshire I did not think about this grip pattern and the grass blades. it would have been much more interesting shot - no doubt! I have been dreaming about macro lens for quite some time now. It could have been very useful for this sort of close-ups. In a mean time I plan to take some shots with a reversed mount - I'm quite curious how that would work?
A feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
