Ship Entering the Port of Hamburg During Hurricane (December 2013)

The hurricane approached from the North Atlantic and already had caused storm flood damages at the Scottish Coast and on the North Frisean Islands. For Hamburg, the good news was that the storm was not as severe as expected and that the protection measures worked well. However, for dozens of TV news teams who had prepared to show another big catastrophe live on newsreel, this was a disappointment: The big show just did not happen.
