Day 1 of my  to which I was kindly invited by Michael Mossiagin !
Today I would like to invite Askewed View Photographic Arts photos by Keith A. Russell (If he likes) to participate in the challenge, one Split Tone Photo per day for five days, photos can be new or from your archives.

Rules:  
1) Post a split tone image - new or old - each day for five days.
2) Tag the person who invited you.
3) challenge a different friend each day to take part.
4) Use the hashtag #splittonefivedaychallenge


This image was split-toned in Lightroom 5.6, settings:
Highlight hue of 30/Saturation 50
Shadow hue of 220/Saturation 50
Balance highlights/shadows at 0

  2. I learned the technique back in the days of film and silver prints. Using more than one toner, sequentially, or very different tones in paper to toner.

    potassium ferrocyanide... Not SOO much ;)

  4. Your right, I also loved the smell of selenium toner, but the sulfide ones, not so much!  LOL

  5. PFc was the one that if you had not washed the print you smelled old almonds...

  6. Some of the Berg color tones had interesting smells too.  :-)
