Now have you noticed? Should be out to most people by now. It's not a good change. I use a large display and want 3 columns when I view my stream or profile page. now it's just two which leaves my display much like Google Plus is leaving me, empty... I have a screen shot it if you're interested. For now there appears to be a link in the bottom left corner of the screen that says "Back to Classic G+". I'm sure they will remove that soon though. Another step Google is taking to move themselves to irrelevance!
David D noticed yesterday afternoon for the first time when I clicked on the link to somebody's page and was prompted to go to the new vs old g+. Thank you! Have a good day!
I keep getting this incessant banner atop my page asking if I want to "try it". I click it away, and it just come back up every time the page is refreshed in some way.
Why offer a "choice", if you will not really have one?
David D I also noticed that in a new g+ there is not automatic completion of the hash tags the way it used to be in the old one. It is very inconvenient.
How can you tell the new from old?
ReplyDeleteOshi Shikigami I haven't received the update yet but there will be no mistake that you have the new once it gets pushed to you.
ReplyDeleteOK, thanks David D.
ReplyDeleteI do not think i noticed any change. Thank you.

Oshi Shikigami I believe you can switch it to "classic" mode the way David described if you dislike the new look.
ReplyDeleteI do not like it. The inability to have 3 columns is not good. I use a large 4K monitor. It's like I'm trying to drink water with a fire hose.

ReplyDeleteGoogle Plus in general is becoming more and more inconvenient...
