A photographer, unless just shooting for self enjoyment only, should always be looking for things that would make the world a better place. By showing the beauty, the acts of love and kindness, we can reassure those who have a heavy load to bear.
However, it also behoves us to be a conscience for humanity as well. To shed daylight on things that are wrong. An answer is not required, as others, when aware, may come up with them. But not to become morrows with the bad, as there always will be some.
So a photographer is an artist a showpiece of the glories of life, an entertainer. And also a documentarian and a whistle blower of the wrong things.
Very very many things to be done. A responsibility to the responsible person. So keep your camera always with you. You never know what will be next, but it wont wait for you if you are not prepared.

#serendipity doesn't happen if we're not there, with our cameras. And digital gives us so much room to take multiple shots to try to get that shot! (Unless it's a BIF, there I'm still trying).
