I took this photo at the Heuckenlok Nature Reserve Area (which is inside Hamburg's city limits). This Area is at the Elbe River Bank, thereby strongly influenced by the Noth Sea tides. It falls more or less dry at low tide. However, around 100 times per year the whole area is completely covered by water when the high tide is stronger than average.
