  1. Saving in Photoshop is making my photos and work blurry here lately, and all I did was use it to put my name on it. I used Picasa 3 to put the frame and matt on it.

  2. I think I have it figured out, as to why they're sometimes blurry. It's because it's saving them in a size that's way too small. When you zoom in it's even worse, proving that the file is too small. Anyways, hope you like it. It's nothing fancy, but it's in it's own sortof category,..kinda like Daniel Boone country..Lol ! :-))

  3. Matthew Woodall I use Picassa3 and the problem might be in exporting them, after finishing. When you go to saving, you have to check the size, which you had put originally. I usually export in 2040 size, because that's for me the maximum size in uploading them to Google here. I don't use G-drive, don't like it.

  5. Yeah, Naturpunkt by Gina M. is right about that.  I ran into that last year when I was using Picasa3 for my FB cover art.  Yet, the photograph is beautiful and I even like the frame and matte on it.  I'm not usually a big fan of either.  However, it does help set the tone for this composition.;  The Daniel Boone Country style is exactly the visual since it gave me.  Nice work.

  6. Thank you so much Fred. I will have to be very selective when saving a photo to make sure the saved file size is big enough for lots of clarity. I thank you both for your help and comments. :-)

  7. Matthew Woodall I wasn't sure, if it would help you, but if, i'm glad about it. I had forgotten to mention, that once you have chosen the right Pixel when exporting, the setting stays, so you don't have to put it each single time.
The picture is nice with the framing, although i am no real fan of framings..., like the tones.

  8. Thanks again Gina, and congrats on winning today. :-)..and yeah, I like this one framed as it is, because it's a county lake, and you see county & city landmarks like this in wide angle frames in offices and in some collector's home offices, and in old post offices, etc. . It's funny, I found a perfect wide frame just like this that's about a 1& 1/2 ft. x 3 ft. made out of very nice oak wood, and found it at a yard sale right after I began taking the panoramic photos. That other one that I posted here a couple of days ago, of a foggy lake in Alabama, is the Lee County Lake which is the county I live in, and so, I'm thinking of using that frame for that one. I think it would look very good in my studio/study room over my old school teacher's desk. Anyways, I thank you again and congratulate you again on winning. I really felt that just bodies of water like a lake or pond wasn't what would really fit in the category having to do with water. Yours and the other ones did fit that category much better. But I did enjoy posting mine so that others could see them.  :-)
