Some of you may not know about our ability to "hide" what communities we belong to. If you're like me, you may belong to multiple communities and post to them on a regular basis as well as publicly with the same photo. These posts (if public communities), by default, will show up on your g+ page for everyone to see. There is nothing wrong with that of course, but if you are interested in "cleaning up" the look of your page to make it more attractive and easier for prospective followers to see more of your work without having to scroll through multiple postings of the same photo then you might want to consider changing your settings. I've copied the instructions on how to do so and pasted them below (i hope this is helpful):
:-D
"Community posts
If you're a member of a Google+ community, you can choose whether or not to show what you post in communities on your Google+ profile. If this setting is on, posts from all your communities will show in the Posts tabs of your profile. But people can only see them there if they can view the original post.
Computer
Open Google+.
In the top left corner, click the drop-down menu > click Settings .
Scroll to the "Profile" section > check or uncheck the box next to "Show your Google+ communities posts on the Posts tab of your Google+ profile." If the box is checked, the posts will show on your profile.
Mobile browser
Open Google+.
In the top left corner, touch the menu icon , then Settings.
Scroll to "Profile," then touch the toggle switch next to "Show your Google+ communities posts on the Posts tab of your Google+ profile." If the switch is on, the posts will show on your profile.
Android app/iPhone/iPad app
You can't edit your profile tabs from a mobile app. Please use a computer or mobile browser to edit your profile tabs."
