  1. I do as well! I wish none of them would go away. It is like a little part of me dies, every time one does. And I gasp, when one is threatened. All this, from one that never considered herself a "tree hugger" either1

  2. Susan's Dad owned  73 acres in Florida between Tampa and Orlando, and grew oranges and many other fruits and veggies , and is where Susan grew up. She was raised picking strawberries before school every morning, all her life. And he had some of the biggest most beautiful trees you could imagine, and with the moss hanging on them. The smell of his orange groves were so amazing in springtime. Then as he got old, he sold all of that land and moved to his wife's hometown in south Georgia, just about 10 years ago. I wanted so much for Susan and I to live on that land and perhaps try to build a small house, but her father was a very selfish man with what all he had, unfortunately.

  3. Such a beautiful dream.  :-) There ass so may dear trees, here.bering fruit, or not. It is ad to see any of them go. Especially in the name of "progress"...
