ReplyDeleteWeeee... Lots of FUN stuff so far...
ReplyDeleteYuppers, some real nice ones so far. :-)
ReplyDeleteand yours..
ReplyDeleteYup, Kevin Vincent. And mine.. ;-)
ReplyDeletehaha..
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for something special from you.. unless you have posted something I missed.. I cant say I was a weeeee bit busy... pix to follow... Im so happy I could fly..
I shall see what i can come up with for tomorrow. - If you arm does not drop off... LOL!
ReplyDeleteis that your shooting arm?
ReplyDeleteYuppes. Now I am not supposed to "carry" anything of consequence. If I took that totally to heart, I would be shooting with a Minox...
ReplyDeleteAs it is, I am ruminating on what camera gear I want/can carry about, when I am doing serious photos. I have my Nikon A, that does quite well for snapshots, but it's a 28mm (Eq.) fixed focal length. Only good so far.
I am somewhat switching over to Leica/Voighlander gear, to shed some of those pounds, that my Nikon gear seems to keep accumulating...
The real trick is to get the camera bag from more than 20-30 Lb. to somewhere under 10, All without giving up on such as fisheye, macro, and long telly and such. A real conundrum, yes?
I carry an ittt bitty bag.. It can be done...
ReplyDeleteYes, but it is an internal fight for every single item...
ReplyDeleteIt's ironic in a way. I spent most of my life getting to the point I could afford to have all that gear, I wanted to really have a 'system'. And then of course, my health kinda precludes being able to tote it about to shoot with it all.
ReplyDeleteSigh!
Oshi Shikigami Bugger! Try a Lexor backpack. Mine holds 2 cameras, 2nd lens for DSLR, 4 x spare batteries & 2 x cards, filters & important accessories like lens caps & hoods, an extra lens, cleaning wipes & equipment. You configure the main area with the internal velcro panels & the bits fit into the side-pockets. "May your life become simpler, it don't mean a tinker, we all end up smoked in a jar"
ReplyDeleteAlthough a system to carry equipment is certainly very important, it is primarily a weight issue, for me. (With bigger stuff usually heaver as well)
ReplyDeleteFor instance: If I can have a Leica with three lenses, weighing less than my Nikon DSLR with one lens, It begins to make sense on toting the Leica...
Multiple small bags is the answer.. force yourself to only carry a limited amount..
ReplyDeleteRight now I have a coat with big pockets, If it doesn't fit in the pockets, it doesn't go. :-)
