A shoe collection shoot for a client. What she has on is few meters of fabric draped by me on the model's body. After all we needed to showcase the shoes. Some of them were like jewels, like this one. Filled with crystals.

Gorgeous work as always! :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie Nelson thank you Debbie. I was extremely tempted to buy some of the shoes in the collection. I contained myself not to give away my salary back to my client.
ReplyDeleteYup, I sure know that concept well...
ReplyDeleteExcellent draping. Lovely shots too. :-)
Oshi Shikigami Thank you, I will slowly share more images from this shoot.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! :-)
ReplyDeletefantabulous!
ReplyDeleteHera Bell yeah I imagine that would be very difficult. It is a shame they don't gift you some! ;)
ReplyDeleteamazing how much fashion really is just a yard of fabric. a safety pin or three and 100mm of gaffer tape
ReplyDeleteThat's a plan, Debbie Nelson!
ReplyDeletethey gave one pair to the model. she was paid on top. the shoes were exteemly expansive for what they were. China made. yup... I was well paid. so I have no complaints.
ReplyDeleteShoes are like lenses, you can never have enough... LOL
ReplyDeleteKevin every dress starts with few metres of material. :) I used to be a fashion designer for 12 years. Did you know that most expansive European collections start by draping the material on dummies. then a lot of hand sawing.
ReplyDeleteYup.. I did.. ;-)
