I like to introduce you to another editible and most interesting plant:  The Evening Primrose, also called Evening star [Oenothera biennis] is a biennial plant with bright yellow, but short-lived flowers which are open only at dusk, but usually fades until the next noon again
◆In naturopathy today the Evening primrose oil extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose has great significance because it contains large amounts of gamma-linolenic acid*. Gamma-linolenic acid is one of the Omega-6 fatty acids and thus the important for humans polyunsaturated fatty acids.
