  1. Something very sensuous in the whole combination of misty clouds & the foreground, which has the appearance of a slow-shutter shot, yet is not. A very powerful but soothing image

  2. Pauli PPariah thank you very much! This shot is one of my top 3 favorites I have ever taken. This was the product of a late May snow storm in the Rocky Mountains. This is Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. This was the one and only "planned" shot I had before leaving. It was going to be an early morning sunrise/mountains reflection. It was 80 degrees F when we left. It snowed a foot shortly after we arrived. I decided to hike to this spot anyway. It was snowing like crazy and the water froze quickly which I think are the two things that attribute it to a slower shutter shot. Thank you very much for the comment!

  3. David D if I could 'like' this twice I would. There's a lot of great shots so far, but I love this one. Foreground interest, shapes, mood; it's got so much going for it.
