Pauli PPariah I am a big fan of LR as a raw processing and a photo management solution but I really hatе the concept of subscription... I'd rather buy one program and upgrade it when i feel like it.
Matthew Woodall I use Picasa 3 to upload my images to G+. Since I started using raw and dng formats, I no longer use it for editing. All that said as a free, all-in-one solution, Picasa was very impressive. it is a pity Google stopped enhancing it.
I am using Picasa3, exactly like Matthew Woodall , without connecting online and without uploads to the G+ account. It's said, that one can change easily to the Google Photos... whatever that means. For my experience i found out, that since i got rid of the G chrome browser, G+ doesn't allow me any more to use the G photo tools here. Sometimes i found them helpful too. Regarding picasa i never used the management for photos, the ones edited, i exported to my own files. Lately i also use the Windows Photo Galery and found out that there are some good tools. What i don't like there at all is, that it is very slow till the pictures are added there and the saving matter and there i found no option for putting the watermark...
A few words have been deleted from my response, but I got away with "Bugga!". Now I will really have to learn LightRoom :((

ReplyDeleteWell, I enjoy using Picasa 3 as a program on my computer. I never was connected online with Picasa though. I will still use Picasa 3 .
