Tripod is an essential part of equipment but it cannot be carried everywhere... When you travel light, a small sand box can come handy for stabilizing your camera. Mine is so small, it easily fits into my photo bag in addition to my camera, flash and 5 lenses... Sand boxes come in various shapes and sizes. I chose THE GREEN POD because you can attach it to the camera using a screw at its top.

ReplyDeleteAt 350g it seems like a good balance between a stable base and a reasonable weight to put in the camera bag.
ReplyDeleteTony Tulloch they have a little bigger, black pod, which could have supported my dslr even better but this one works pretty well for me...
