The other night at the Port of Hamburg: The brandnew "Quantum of the Seas". This is one of the World's largest cruise ships with a maximum occupancy of 4,905 passengers. The Quantum is owned by US operator Royal Carribbean and will mainly sail to and from China, starting early 2015. The absolute largest ship in the world, is Allure the seas. Its bigger than the Quantum. But, the largest ship in the entire world EVER BUILT,was the Knock Nevis. An oil tanker, 220 ft wide, and 1,503 ft long.
