Joining the Community Rules – Update
To reduce the number of false requests and filter out spam, we change the protocol of joining the community.
To join our community, please, write an introductory message and send it to one of the community’s moderators (a list of moderators can be found in “About Community” section of our web page). Please tell us a couple of words about yourself and include a photo or two representing your photography interest and skill level (ANY SKILL LEVEL is acceptable).
A reference from one of the active community members is typically sufficient for joining as well.

Excellent. Until Google actually deals with this issue of 99% fake requests and sometimes more than a hundred a day, it is about the only practical thing to do.
