Pauli PPariah Tamron 90 is a good lens with a couple shortcomings: absence of IS and increased length while focusing closely and not very fast automatic focusing speed. I typically focus manually and use tripod, which may not be the easiest setup for insects shooting - for instance. Although for a price (there are some really good deals on ebay) it performs extremely well. On a full camera like yours it would perform a little differently - I think, you would need to get significantly closer to the subject but isolating effect (blurring) - I speculate - would be even better. I think it would do a great portrait lens as well.
Superb focus (lens envy: f/3.2!)
