I recently found a pair of images that looked like they might work together as a panorama and stitcehd them together in Lightroom. I then finished editing in a combo of Lightroom and Photoshop (w/Topaz Plugins).

The tricky part was finding shots with similar enough exposures that they could be blended as seamlessly as possible.
