Posted this on up today on 500px.  This was an old image I had from 2014 that I submitted back then.  I edited it again with some of the new techniques I have been reading about.

Made the Popular level with a pulse score of 85.5  There was a tilt in the original and this time I took Michael Mossiagin advice and leveled the photograph of and cropped it.  Only lost about 200 pixels from the original image.  This community can be a great help.  Yet, it take both asking for advice and it takes people willing to give advice.  Thanks Michaell

  1. You are most welcome Fred! I am really happy we could help as that was the original reason for creating this community: help others and ask for help. I still believe this is the quickest way to learn. I have learned plenty in two passed years thanks to our community members.

  2. Thank you Oshi Shikigami .  I'm taking a shine to the texture overlays.  I used two on this one.  A black leather and a aged paper.  Trying to keep the contrast right on this was the tough part with color being added into the mix.

  3. I spent some time in a few other communities before you invited me here.  I say this with no malice intended; yet, you and the folks back then were very warm and enthusiastic.  The best community for photography in my humble opinion Michael Mossiagin.  Always been proud to be a member of this group.
