This isn't anything too fancy, in fact I stopped in the middle of the hwy to snap this picture on my cellphone.

This isn't anything too fancy, in fact I stopped in the middle of the hwy to snap this picture on my cellphone. I am so in love with today and the beauty that surrounds me. The farmers cutting and harvesting hay, the corn fields bursting with giant ears of corn and the soybean fields overflowing with soybeans. Everywhere I turn everything is green and full of life. Living in small town rural America is a blessing and amazing. Just wanted to share this with you all. I hope your day is also filled with beauty and wonder! :) Namaste

  2. Dear Debbie: I have lived for a couple oft years in the South Western rural part of Germany. In those days I had the same feeling when the summer turned into late summer and the crops became ripe for the harvest. Your picture brings back lots of memories to me. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Guido Billstein I spent 4 years in Karlshruhe and loved every minute of it. I adored our landlords who so graciously took me in as family as well. I spent my days very actively riding my bike all over your beautiful countryside! Visiting the many palatial grounds, parks and gardens. I was amazed at how every inch was taken care of and cherished because there isn't much free land. I hope to return again one day to the land of my heritage. :) Have a wonderful week!

  5. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I spent 2years in Speyer which is close to Karlsruhe and some more years in the Southern part of the Black Forest area. And that was very rural...
