Scaffold - my favorite category!!!! (Please note that we post our opinions that may or may not be accepted by others) Everybody has a right to critique and be criticised). Here we go: 1) the colors are over saturated in my personal opinion 2) unless you want to emphasize a particular detail on your image there is no need to use f/5.6 aperture for a story-telling composition that usually requires age to age sharpness. 3) it looks like you chose a good time for shooting, the light is very soft. I like you POV but I think getting closer to the building would have allowed you using more of this wonderful lighting. This is not a critique per se as the castle is well lit - I'm jus thinking what I would have done in your place?
Thanks for your time to comment my picture. In fact, I brightened the grass as it is shadowed by the trees at the left. I did purposely on the grass on the ground only and not on long leafs and to keep a kind of depth. To have the building lit like this, it is possible only few hours a day. It is on my path to my workplace so I grab the opportunity to stop and shoot some.
