  1. If I remember correctly, this is the place, where the only existing proof of the existence of Pontius Pilate as a historical figure ( I believe a stone plate bearing his name was found there). A wonderful panorama, Igor Rybnikov!

    The stone plate (its replica) is still there near the remains of Pilate's palace 100 m away from the Amphitheater.
