I love the dreamy feel of infared photography. Everything green turns into white, sky becomes dramatic where the blue becomes darker against puffy clouds.

Very nice! Are these shots film or digital? I used to do Infrared with film, even having used some roll film for my 95 Polaroid. In the last year or so I have seen new offerings in infrared film. And pseudo-infrared, as well.
ReplyDeleteSoon I hope I will be posting infrared And Ultraviolet photography. I have sent off my X-Pro 1 to get converted to allow both IR and UV photography. Of course I shall be posting here what I am able to get.
Oshi Shikigami I used to shoot with real infrared negatives. A pain in the butt. I know what you mean. Was it Kodak or Ilford that came up with fake infrared look alike negatives? I converted a Lumix to digital infrared. These were shot with it.
ReplyDeleteKodak had an E-4 and an E-6 version of "False color infrared" film, in 35 mm and even movie film.
ReplyDeleteHow did the infrared conversion of your Lumix? I have my camera sent to LifePixel, and there had several options, But I chose the one that give the entire spectrum of the sensor from infrared, through ultraviolet. You just use filters to select what range you want recorded.
I should be getting by the end of January. I can wait to play! :-)
Oshi Shikigami I don't use any filters. They made the conversion. Some company at New Jersey. I can use my lenses on this lumix. Yet it is fairly an old small camera. This was few years ago already.
