It is one of those cases of an shot that I at first dismissed, but remember trying for a certain look...so...years later, I revisited it.

Greenwich Steps

I love the various public stairs and walkways to help you get around San Francisco. We realized that they are actually on Google Maps, but sometimes finding them is a bit of a hunt. Tim Hagestad and I made it a goal to find and use them to see where they would drop you off.

These are located just below Coit Tower. I shot back the way we had come from a low angle to try to capture the trench feeling that you get when you make your way down.

  1. For those with limited mobility, or just not wishing to crawling into a "bug's eye view," of things, A selfie stick can get you low to the ground, without getting down and dirty. :-)
