When i passed this area as front-seat passenger, my heart bleaded, for my son didn't want to stop! Back home i decided to turn there immediately, which is about a 20 minutes drive.
I was really happy, spending about 1 hour there (not annoying anoybody ....) making pictures of all the surroundings and finally i got the present of a gorgeous winter sunset. Nevertheless i ended up completely frozen myself, as because of being sunny, i had not put my thick winter jacket on.

  2. This is a wonderful picture! I love the sepia effect. What a beautiful sight with the Alps towering above the fields. The fog adds to their mystery. It definitely speaks Frozen to me! :) thank you for another awesome picture in our contest this week.

  3. My mother was born in Salzburg...and my husband and I spent a week down in Berchtesgadens. While there we were going to do the Sound of Music Tour but go figure I did not bring my Passport. I was so disappointed at not getting to go. It is such a magnificent area though with beauty that is all hers alone! I miss being and living over there...

  5. Debbie Nelson thank you so much for your wonderful description! i had preferred to put a slight bit of sepia because of the warmth,
i love to participate in this theme especially. I confess, that  I am not a winter fan at all... but through the photography i start to love so many things in nature now, even the ones, which i was not so attracted before :D

Berchtesgaden is a wonderful place i know, though only have visited it once. So sorry, that you couldn't participate :(
Hopefully you can visit again the places which you love. If you should be near Lake Constanze, give me a sign!
